Keeping y'all informed!

Tour Diary Number 1
OK, 'tour diary' is a little bit of a misnomer as we are still in rehearsal mode as the tour doesn't start for another week! However, we have just finished a stint of work in the rehearsal rooms in Dagenham, in the shadow of the stadium of the great and mighty Daggers... and things have been going splendidly well.
So What's New?
Well, we have dug into the archives and re-learnt a couple of songs we haven't done for... 25 years and tampered with lots of the regular ones! We have contiuned to develop our new approach of playing songs semi-unplugged too, in fact, some songs are sounding even betterer!
Special Guest
Yesterday (Thursday 24th Oct 07) Rob Halligan came down to work with us and we have learnt some of his songs as well as him learning ours. Just wait until you see his incredible slap-acoustic approach to Der Kommissar!!!
Practice some Moves!
So, just one week to go, a full gear rehearsal next week followed by one day of tweaking and that's it, Friday we kick off at Farncombe Music Club... Can't wait!
Dateline Tues 30th October 2007
It's SO Rock and Roll... but the gear was late getting to our, ahem, gear rehearsal... Jonathan was seriously held up so we were a bit later than planned. Best thing for the musos to do? Go and eat Kebab and let the boys press on with setting up the equipment!
The Truth Hurts!
By far and away the most impressive element of our equipment is Matt's seriously loud kit! He is a TRUTH endorsee, they should be proud of him... check out the bass drum, probably the longest of it kind in captivity!

Day One: Warm up rehearsal and run through at Music Tek venue in sunny Dagenham.
